Town inched nearer a play-off place with a hard fought 1-1 draw at Sheffield United. An Andy Gray penalty put the Blades ahead before Ian Westlake equalised. While a draw was probably a fair result, United were lucky to escape without conceding penalties when Chris Morgan twice handled in the area.

Town made it three wins in three as they defeated Wimbledon 2-1 at the National Hockey Stadium in Milton Keynes. Two goals within a minute of one another 20 minutes from the end scored by Darren Bent and Shefki Kuqi won the Blues the points, Gary Smith notching the Dons' goal.

McGreal is definitely returns after a knee ligament injury while Bent clearly impressed his manager as a sub in the dramatic comeback against Sheffield United.
